Email: contact@xanhay.comHey there! I'm Xan, a game designer fueled by a passion for crafting interactive narratives and engaging experiences. I'm not just about games – I love designing any experience that sparks player agency and tells a compelling story. My journey began in 2012, and since then, I've been obsessed with the magic of creating interactive worlds. I honed my skills at Sheridan College, earning a Bachelor of Game Design, and further solidified my passion through an internship at NVIDIA Development. There, I gained valuable experience working across multiple platforms, from PCs and mobile devices to the cutting edge of AR/VR. Having tackled projects in all major game engines, I'm comfortable navigating the technical aspects of bringing a vision to life.Achievements and Accolades:In 2019, alongside my team, we snagged second place at Toronto's LevelUp Showcase. That same year, I was awarded the Game Changers Scholarship by Xbox, allowing me to attend the industry-leading Game Developers Conference (GDC).Beyond the Design:My passion extends beyond crafting immersive worlds. I'm a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion within the gaming industry. This commitment led me to volunteer work with Girls in Gaming in 2012 and 2013, empowering aspiring woman developers in high school. In the same years, I also shared my knowledge by assisting with workshops teaching Microsoft's Kodu Engine to middle schoolers through the River East Transcona School Division.I believe games have the power to connect, challenge, and inspire. That's the magic I strive to create in every project I undertake. Let's build something amazing together!
